Bilanţ GASTROPAN 2012: talentul, tehnologia şi inovaţia la superlativ

Un număr de 14.150 specialişti şi antreprenori din mori, brutării, cofetării, patiserii şi restaurante au vizitat, în perioada 23-25 martie, ediţia a patra a expoziţiei internaţionale GastroPan. Evenimentul a prezentat, la standurile a 107 expozanţi din 16 ţări, o gamă variată de echipamente, ingrediente şi ustensile dedicate sectorului de profil.

CONFECTIONERY SECTION [C]

C1 Category: Cake Decoration (Topic: Wedding Cakes)

-         This category is for confectioners and will require the presentation of a cake made from raw materials, auxiliary and
           decorative products approved for consumption;

-          Maximum weight of the cake will not exceed 3,5 kg;

-         All the raw materials and ingredients used must be edible and handmade.

-         Products in this category must be presented in the competition on SATURDAY, March 23, 2012, between the hours 8:00 to 9:30.

-         Competitors will join next to each cake entered in the contest, two slices of a cake having the same composition,
           in order to give the jury the possibility of tasting;

-         Judging Criteria: appearance (the decorations’ visual effect on the viewer, artistic talent of the creator) culinary expertise
           (quality of ingredients used), the degree of difficulty, innovation, creativity and way of presenting the product;

 

C2 Category: Artistic Confectionery Work

-         In this category, dedicated to confectioners, competitors will present an artistic piece made from chocolate, sugar,
           marzipan, or any other edible raw materials;

-         Products in this category must be presented in the competition on SATURDAY, March 23, 2012, between the hours
           8:00 to 9:30.

-         All the raw materials and ingredients used must be edible and handmade.

-         Judging criteria: creativity (artistic talent) of the author will weigh the most in the jury's decision. The degree of difficulty, quality of the ingredients used and the way of presentation are other criteria that must be respected in this category.
